Customer Name: The University of York
The Brief: The University recently had the supply upgraded from the local Distribution Network Operator and also required the existing site distribution system to be increased in capacity to meet the demands of their expanding campus. Safety and continuity of supply were paramount.
The Solution: IUS provided and installed a new 12 panel 11kV composite switchboard to integrate with the existing distribution system.
The Results: IUS's skill in project management enabled us to co-ordinate
the works with third parties. Robust programming of all site works, particularly
in the commissioning and decommissioning phases resulted in the works being
completed on time and to high safety standards.
