The Brief: Wm Morrison required a high voltage contractor that they could rely on for inspection and maintenance as well as emergency repairs. The necessity is linked to keeping store supplies operating to maximum efficiency. The service would be provided for up to 94 sites.
The Solution: IUS are employed under an Operational Maintenance Agreement to carry out a range of activities including substation inspections, switchgear maintenance, transformer oil analysis, protection testing, fault diagnosis, location & repair, battery maintenance and where appropriate non-intrusive maintenance techniques.
The Results: Wm Morrison are safe in the knowledge that their high voltage apparatus is effectively inspected and maintained to the latest standards including any defect rectification. IUS also control and operate the networks and control all related safety documentation.
